This package combines the USB BUB-III, with the popular Really Bare Bones Board (RBBB). Now you can upload sketches from your programming environment directly into the AtMega chip's EEPROM and provide it power from a USB port.
As a bonus - the matching USB A to micro B cable (a convenient 0.5m avoids cable clutter) is included so you have all the parts to hand, ready to go.
Note: Just like the Arduino, the chip supply/logic levels are 5 volt. Check that the USB BUB is configured as 5V supply - the logic level works fine as 3.3V or 5V.
Note: From mid-Jan 2012, RBBB's are pre-loaded with the OptiBoot 4.4 bootloader, compatible with Uno boards.
